Christmas Outing

This year for our Christmas outing we went to see the Zoolights and the National Zoo.
We took the metro of course where Byron decided to catch up on current events.

The lights were awesome and well worth the trip.

But the best part of the trip was being together and sharing the evening with our friends.

We all got to bring a friend along.

Byron brought his good friend Garret

Porter and I invited our friends the Farmans
and Cy invited his twin Jonah.

All were memorized by the beautiful lights and funnel cakes!

Someone's Eating Santa

First I discovered one lonely Santa head on the floor,

Then the next day another

and finally the culprit.
But Cy's not all Grinchey he is learning how to help wrap presents,

and how to unwrap them

It's official, Byron is a tween and he has a mouth full of metal to prove it.

Cy on the other hand seems to be practicing to be a hunting retrieval dog.

To my little drop of orange juice who smells like apple juice when wet, I love you so much! Thanks for being the most wonderful and supportive sister in the world.

Triming the Tree

Look at my baby so grown up hauling in the tree practically by himself.

This baby not to be out done is straightening the branches, an important job to be sure.

And here he is untangling lights. Such a good helper.

I am a lucky girl indeed.

Byron and Porter attended their first NFL game last week. It was a pretty big deal, there two favorite teams were playing, the 49ers and the redskins. Both boys had a great time.

Byron also finished out his first football season. He had a great time learning to play the game.

For those that don't know and I am sure there are many, Cyrus is dressed up as the University of Maryland mascot. He is a terrapin turtle.

Harpers Ferry

We visited Harpers Ferry this last weekend and had a great time. It was a little colder then anticipated but the Sun did peak out for a bit.
