Time for Halloween Decorating. Here is my first Halloween craft. Martha Stewart's looked much better but I think once I get some moss in the bottom it will look perfect!

Last night we went to our first and possibly last major league baseball game. We were able to go to the Orioles and Red Sox game. We had a very nice time. I've learned that major league games are a lot different than minor league games. In the minors the field spends a lot of time entertaining the spectators. Fun songs, jokes, games, etc. At major league games they expect you to entertain yourselves, or actually watch the game.

Fortunately Byron brought a long his own entertainment. Baseball games are long! This picture was taken 2 hours into the game. We'd been in our seats for 3.

The Orioles lost, and since this was apparently the team we were cheering for we left at after the 7th inning.

At this particular location you could see the Washington Monument in the distance and many other smaller replicas used as headstones. It created quite an interesting view.
Every hour there is a ceremony of the guards changing. It really was an amazing experience. Not necessarily watching the guards change but taking the time to think about the monument and what it stands for.

Fall Ball has begun. This is Byrons first year playing in kid pitch. Boy do I miss machine pitch. Pretty much the boys just stand at home plate and wait to be walked to first base. Not to exciting. I sit on the sidelines in my tot spot and freeze. =)

Byron's first day of 4th grade! Boy was he excited. I followed the wise wisdom of my bff and told him he could wear what ever he like. Unfortunately his favorite shorts are a bit to small for him. He wont give them up though.
Porter also had his first day of school as well. I was able to send both my men off to school.
I'm not sure why but I really like this picture of Byron. He just has the sweetest expression.

And he's off. To have a day filled with meeting new friends and remembering old ones. To the best day ever!
