Our friends the Rowes invited us to Antietam to listen the the Maryland Symphony and see some fireworks for the 4th of July weekend. When we first arrived it started to rain but it quickly cleared up and we had a fabulous time.

Unfortunately Byron was taking this picture so he was not able to be in it.

On our way back to the car Byron was helping out by carrying Cy in the front carrier. Cy had fallen to sleep and Byron was doing an excellent job making sure they didn't get run over by all the passing cars. In order to stay far away from the traffic Byron decided to leave the side of the road and walk on the grass. It was very dark and he didn't realize that there was a ravine. The next thing he knew he was rolling down the ravine with Cy tucked into his body. Byron was pretty shook up and ended up having two scraped knees. Cy remained asleep throughout. It was quite a way to end the day.

Poor Byron! I can't believe Cy stayed asleep. That's amazing. How are you doing? Getting sleep? How did Cy like the fireworks? Connor couldn't decide if he loved or hated them. He hates loud noises but loved the lights.
