Cy's First Slumber Party

Last night Cy got to have his very first sleep over with his bff Jonah.   

The babies began their first sleep over by doing a couple of ride-alongs with the local fire truck.

Both boys wanted to drive the walker but Jonah convinced Cy that he had more experience with walker toys.  This continued all night until the fire truck broke down.

 Cy came along and the boys worked on their truck for awhile. Then they took a break and did a little floor play

 Each baby made sure to keep watch while the other one rested.  They knew if they both laid down at the same time they would probably be put to bed.

 

Yes, Cy frequently can be found in his crib asleep in this very position.

 

Next Jonah decreed it was time to raid the kitchen so they did.

  

 They managed to open and spill two boxes of cereal.  Cy did the actual opening and spilling, i'm pretty sure that by the second box he was just showing off. I was too busy cleaning the cereal up to take that picture but rest assured it was a sight to behold.

 Next the boys had a little jam session on the piano, while Byron played computer games.

 There was a failed attempt to sit in the same chair. Followed by an exhilarating game of chase. 

 Sometimes Cy chased Jonah and other times Jonah chased Cy.

 Jonah was apparently scary enough to chase Cy right into the bathroom.

 Once Cy was ensconced in the bathroom Jonah made a run for it.

 This  chase went on for a good hour.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But soon all good things come to an end.  Once Jonah got punchy enough to start sucking on a binky Cy knew it was time to turn in.

 So off to bed they went.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

OK, so maybe the end wasn't quite so orderly but they did both fall fast asleep without a wimper.
