Lionel Richey and the Capital?

Let me start by a saying the Guiver's are totally connected people. They apparently know someone who knew someone who could get us VIP tickets to the PBS memorial day concert. It was pretty cool, never having been a VIP before. We were able to pass the masses piling up trying to get through security and were able to move right along to a discreet table where they didn't have our names listed. However, after Daryl named names, and calls were made we were ushered in. Now don't be too jealous as you scroll along these pictures.

Don't worry they were not forced to dance or stand on chairs to America the Beautiful, they were just overcome by the moment, can't you tell?

Here is an unzoomed image of the VVIP tent. Why is this shot important? To make you jealous that we were this close to the following person.

For instance this person, who is obviously famous.

And yes, that is Lionel Richey. I know you are so jealous right now! For all you country fans we also got to see Brad Paisley. We sadly had never heard of him before, but Byron was able to slide up to the front row and act like a groupie during his number. There was also Colonel Powell, Greg Sinise (CSI Guy) and the All state Insurance commercial guy.

In all seriousness though we had an amazing time! And being able to get those tickets was amazing. You can see from the first picture where all the non VIP people had to sit. Thanks Daryl!
